google Bad Day?

Having a bad day is the worst thing of all..

You see, it usually appears like the instant a nasty day begins there's no resolution of it—we're simply doomed to failure till it ends.

A bad day usually begins with a false begin, or maybe a series of them.

When one thing unhealthy happens—whether you've got caused the pain yourself otherwise you were simply the unfortunate victim of poor temporal order.

You created a handful of little mistakes that happened to have an effect on you at identical time, and you've got started considering traditional behavior and events to be unhealthy luck directed at you. you are not that special. you are simply being egoistic. we tend to produce unhealthy days by thinking an excessive amount of regarding what is happening to US and not enough regarding what is really happening. we tend to provide significance to point instead of check out that point for what it's.

And the worst is typically you are going to urge unhealthy news regarding the death of a lover, that you have lost your job, or one thing else that is getting to be less of a nasty day and additional of a tragic streak in your life.

Sometimes unhealthy things ar getting to happen and you've got to allow them to. generally we'd like to feel unhappy.

How to beat a Bad Day

Take a deep breath.
Hold it for a moment and exhale. Do this several times.
Close your eyes if you like, or look at a picture of your spouse or kids or something that makes you smile. Clear your mind of the frustration you were feeling.

Now pick something easy to do.
Whether it's sending off a report, reconciling a balance sheet, or replying to a few straightforward emails, cross off an item on your to-do list that doesn't require much thought. The very process will tend to slow your heart rate and give you a sense of ownership of what you are doing.

Mindfulness meditation.
Meditation can relieve stress and give us more emotional resilience.

Music.
Music can be a direct path to emotional responses. Listening to exactly the right kind of music can turn your mood around quickly and powerfully.
Changing the environment.
Opening the curtains, going to a place you enjoy, sitting in a garden … anything that tends to make you happier or to remind you of what’s good in the world can get you out of a negative mental rut.

Writing things down.
Problems are easier to deal with if they’re clear instead of vague anxieties. Listing things that are bothering you or that you need to do can create clarity and a sense of purpose in place of general stress. More generally, writing freely about your thoughts can accomplish the same thing when you’ve got a bad mood going on and are not sure why.

Talking things out.
Like writing, talking things out with a friend who’s a good listener can help clarify the situation and relieve stress.

Changing facial expressions.
As silly as it sounds, research seems to show that changing our expressions–especially smiling–can help change our mood on a chemical level.

Working with a good therapist.
If anxiety, stress, or bad moods come up for you a lot more than you’d like, a good therapist can make all the difference. Unfortunately, a lot of people associate therapy with mental illness, but it’s clear from recent research that psychology has a lot to say about how even an entirely healthy person can become happier and more effective in the world, and there are some therapists who are very good at helping make that happen.
